Hampton Style Apartment Living
Here's a sneak peak at another moodboard created for some wonderful Clients in the Western Suburbs. Having just downsized they soon realised that their existing furniture wouldn't fit in their new home. So it was time to re-think everything...
We had a blank canvas in the living room but needed to work with existing furniture such as a light oak dining table and matching buffet. Our Client's love blues, greens and all things coastal. It helped that this apartment was so close to the river with wonderful view over tree tops in the surrounding suburbs.
We chose a duck-egg linen fabric for the custom built 3 meter long South Fork II Sofa and had the legs stained to match the existing oak furniture. We needed to provided addition seating without overcrowding the living space. We decided on a large ottoman that looked like a chaise in the same fabric as the sofa, it could double as extra seating or a coffee table if you used a tray. We added our Soho occasional chair in a complimentary linen fabric that had open arms also stained to match the other furniture, keeping a sense of spaciousness in the room. We added a plantation style buffet in white as the TV unit an finished the room with some over-sized Designer Boys Coral artwork in champagne silver square frame.
