I'm excited to share with you a project we'll be working on over the coming weeks. We're at the very beginning of a small renovation project in one of Perth's coastal suburbs. Our client's home already has the added advantage of being in a great location close to the ocean but they need their home to feel more airy and spacious. The brief is simple, with a very small garden and modest size open planning living/dining they want to bring the outside in and give the main living area a sense of openness and space with a relaxed coastal feel.
For inspiration we're starting with a moodboard where we'll pull together our colour palette and furniture styles suggestions. Next we'll look at their floor-plans, this helps us identify the furniture sizes required. Next we'll present this moodboard to Client for feedback... Stay tuned for the next instalment!
