What is the right direction to take when we want to add some drama to a room, but keep it formal?
Always look for balance within a room, it seems simple, but if we play carefully with strong and complementary colours the result can be sophisticated beauty.
For this project we wanted every piece of furniture to become a feature without clashing. That’s why we used simple lines for the wood furniture, with our Catherine coffee table, and Catherine console table perfectly paired with a South Fork lamp table. For the Lounge we choose to go with our signature sofas and armchairs, The Oliver, a rich design that includes contrast in it self, because of the solid structure of this seats and it being elevated on small wheels, this is a timeless design that reminds us of centuries past.
For the dining we picked this very formal and classic South Fork dining chair to match with the black furniture. And to finish and enrich the space with details, we used soft tones in the cushions, and Chelsea lamps, playing just with the patterns. Mixing pattern is always very interesting and allows you to add character in the room without risking making it too busy looking.
