This week see us in Perth's Northern suburbs working with a wonderful couple who have recently relocated back to Perth from up North. They bought their property a while ago and rented it out until they were ready to make the move.
Once they had a date in mind they came to the store with their house plans and we got to work planning their furniture colours, fabrics and sizing.
The results I think you'll agree are amazing. The brief was simple "coastal feel with a contemporary twist but must be practical for grand-kids and above all else liveable".
So we got to working choosing a mixture of natural timbers and white furniture to complement the already neutral colour palette. Firstly we mapped out the sofas sizes. Our Clients chose the elegant South Fork Sofa design and we recommended a suitably durable Warwick fabric. Adding the over-sized Chelsea wing chair with ottoman in a striped linen fabric alongside our Montauk buffet and window arch mirror; then tying it all together with a relaxed coastal rug.
Moving on to the dining room which was linked to the open-plan living area, we had a recessed space that we needed a buffet for. This space was too big for any of our regular furniture and so we worked with our Clients to design a bespoke buffet that fits like a glove. We also chose our 2.6 meter Montauk Dining Table and eight Australian-made dining chairs in a coordinating fabric to match the sofas and used the same rug again to frame the space.
