The Dream Continues... Back to our gorgeous clients in the Western Suburbs this week to talk about their bespoke furniture plan that Henry & Oliver Co. created for their living room.
Remember we told you the brief was brief was "we like Hampton Style but not in the "traditional" sense...! So for this project we decided on a "contemporary hamptons" feel with a nod to the colonial era while keeping the character of this beautiful home alive.
We had used grey paired with teal-green colours and touches of black in their master suite and so to link the two spaces we introduced a little more black and some softer duck-egg blues and warm grey tones in the living space.
The living room also benefits from a beautiful lush backdrop of a large sunny garden and stunning french doors so we had a great blank canvas to work with...
We started with an extra large grey diamond rug, made using wool and viscose it's not only stylish but will be very durable and easy to clean. Next we added our custom Australian made south fork sofas covered in a contemporary miniature chevron pattern to mimic the pattern on the rug. We chose a fibre back to give a nice structured look but a feather seat cushion to add a bit of luxury and additional comfort to this area as it's the main family-zone. We choose a complimentary subtle blue fabric for our Dakota accent chairs and darker shades of blue for our cube ottomans. Ottomans are a great way to add some colour to a room while also doubling up as extra seating if you have friends over. Then with pulled the room together using our Greenwich black coffee table, Greenwich side-tables, the elegant Lauren mirror and statement regal lamp and lastly we layered our luscious feather filled cushions to pull all the textures and colours together.
