The mood board this week was created for another of our lovely Clients. The brief was to create a modern hamptons style home in a coastal suburb. If you want to achieve a modern look but you love the elegance of classic furniture then it's time to play with colours! For this newly built home we used a warm grey scale. Grey and white although a very simple combination can be quite amazing when they are used with different textures and materials thus creating variety in the same room. For this living room we used a total five white items, starting from the left, our South Fork lamp table, Quatrefoil mirror, Catherine console table, and Catherine entertainment unit. All of these stunning pieces of furniture are designed right here in Perth at Henry & Oliver Co. They are made with traditional hand-crafting techniques at an Australian owned factory in Indonesia. The smooth finish of this white paint embellishes the accurate design of these products and will flatter your home with timeless elegance.
As a contrast to the white we decided to add some grey/silver details, by using the silver Louis mirror on the right, and looks amazing above the console table, it will also make every room look much bigger. We can see another metallic detail in the South fork pendant, a modern and very stylish lighting solution.
For the sofa we choose a classic design, the Sag Harbour and used grey linen look fabric piped with a crisp bright white. All our sofas can be covered with any fabric and piped in any colour. The final result of this living room was a fresh, youthful and bright Hampton Style home for a young family to enjoy.
