Delivery Information

General Delivery Information


All Henry & Oliver Co. orders are delivered during business hours. If you order multiple items from our website, you may receive multiple deliveries shipped by multiple carriers since items may be sent from different warehouse locations. Carriers are unfortunately not able to specify an exact delivery time for small to medium items, but for large items carriers can advise morning or afternoon for delivery.
We are currently unable to cater to any additional delivery requests including, but not limited to: express shipping, selection of specific delivery date or time, weekend deliveries, reserving or holding stock in our or our partner’s warehouse, consolidation of multiple orders or consolidation of items in an order if they are dispatched from more than one location.

Delivery Process

Based on your delivery address and the size and weight of your order, we will choose the best courier team for your delivery when your order is ready for dispatch.

For the convenience of our customers, we group all order items to be dispatched together by default. If you have purchased items with different availabilities and you wish to receive selected pieces earlier, please contact us at enquiries@henryandoliverco.com and we will be happy to discuss the options with you. 


What Shipping Methods do Henry & Oliver Co. use?
Depending on the size of the items in your order, we utilise the following shipping and delivery methods:

Small Parcels (i.e. Homewares)
Many lightweight items can be shipped via Startrack, TNT, Australia Post and other carriers. As soon as your item has left the warehouse you will be notified via email and be able to track your order online. Our standard shipping arrangement will require a signature upon delivery; however, if you are not at home at the time of delivery a notice with alternative arrangements will be left at your residence (usually your parcel will be stored at your local post office for pick up).


Medium Sized Items (i.e. Side Tables)
For medium sized items such as side tables that cannot be shipped via Australia Post or smaller carriers we will send them through one of several freight carriers.
Items will be sent to the shipping address you provide when placing your order. We cannot accept a PO box for these items as shipping address because our shipping partners are unable to deliver to a PO box. We suggest you provide a street address for delivery if you are purchasing furniture items.
Usually, our freight deliveries are sent straight to your doorstep and require a signature upon delivery to acknowledge that the items have been received in a reasonable order. Due to security and liability restriction of our carriers, the customer is responsible for bringing any of such merchandise into their home, so we recommend that you have someone available to help you carry the items into your home, unpack and install your furniture.
If, for any reason, our shipping partner is not able to successfully deliver your order they should leave a card with further delivery instructions. In these situations, Henry & Oliver Co. reserves the right to charge you for any additional costs incurred (e.g. shipping and storage) or to cancel the sale contract, in which case, we will fully refund you the net amount (i.e. the amount you paid minus shipping or storage costs).


Bulky & Fragile Items (i.e. Buffets & Sofas)
Large furniture items are mostly shipped using a one or two man delivery service. Once your order has left the warehouse you will be notified via email. Unfortunately, online tracking is not available for such deliveries. However, the carrier will typically contact you in order to arrange a delivery time that suits you best. Upon delivery the drivers will carry your item into your room of choice.
Items will be sent to the shipping address you provide when placing your order. We cannot accept a PO box for these items as the shipping address because our shipping partners are unable to deliver to a PO box. We suggest you provide a street address for delivery if you are purchasing furniture items.
In very exceptional cases where delivery may result in unusually high freight charges (including, but not limited to, remote delivery locations, inner city deliveries, island deliveries, etc.),
Henry & Oliver Co. reserves the right to cancel an order.
Please contact us first if you'd like to check if your location may be subject to unusually high freight charges.

Picking Up from Henry & Oliver Co.’s warehouse
If you choose to pick up your in in-store or online order from our warehouse, please allow up to 7 working days for your order to be ready for dispatch, especially if it is a bulky item. If there are any unforeseeable delays, you will be contacted by our customer service team.
All pick-ups must be booked in advance and you may be required to bring additional help to assist with the loading of the items into your desired method of transport.
Henry & Oliver Co. take no responsibility if the item is damaged once it has left the Henry & Oliver Co. premises.  

Do I need to be home to receive delivery?

Small items might be dropped at a safe spot on your property if you're not at home at the time of delivery. 

Furniture deliveries usually require a signature of the receiver. Please contact Henry & Oliver Co. in case you wish to give an Authority to Leave for the courier.

Can items be brought into the lift/upstairs to my apartment?

Our delivery options usually contain the delivery to your front door for small items i.e. homewares and lamps (Henry & Oliver Co. FREE Delivery) or just inside the front door of your house/apartment building for furniture items i.e. buffets & console tables. Our FREE Delivery Service does not include our third-party couriers placing items in desired rooms inside your house or apartment building, they will drop inside the door of your home. 

Please make sure to check the packaging dimensions on each product page to make sure that they do actually fit into your lift or through the staircase. The Delivery Team cannot unpack items for the delivery if space is tight. 

How soon will my order be dispatch vs. delivery

On the product page for each item, you will see a dispatch estimate e.g. '2 to 3 weeks'. Dispatch is when the item(s) are collected by our delivery partner. From dispatch, depending on where you are located, the transit times may vary. Below you will find more information on the delivery process and how long after dispatching you should expect delivery. These timeframes do not apply to Custom Orders.

Delivery options

We work together with a few selected logistics partners. Depending on the size and weight of the furniture item you're buying and your location, you may have different delivery options to choose from. In order to view all delivery options available for your location and the delivery fees, please place the desired items in your cart and enter your state and postcode. We've outlined the delivery options below, as well as the approximate transit times for each state. PLEASE NOTE OUR FREE DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERY SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE BRINGING GOODS INSIDE YOUR HOME, PLACEMENT OF GOODS, UNPACKING, PACKAGING REMOVAL OR WASTE DISPOSAL, if you would like any of these services listed above we can arrange this at an additional charge, please contact us for more information.

Grouped Delivery

For the convenience of our customers, we will send all items on an order together by default. If you purchase items that have different availabilities and you wish to receive selected pieces earlier, please contact our enquiries@henryandoliverco.com  

Rugs and wall art will be dispatched separately when they become available, as they are sent directly from our makers. If you have any special requests for their delivery, please contact our enquiries@henryandoliverco.com  as soon as possible.

Delivery Times:


If your order contains multiple products then individual products may be delivered on different days, depending on the availability of freight carriers on any given day to facilitate the delivery.

FREE Delivery Service

If your delivery address is located in Metro Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast areas you might be eligible for our FREE delivery service. With this option, our delivery team will bring your item(s) inside your home and place it in the entryway.

Free Delivery includes a 1 man delivery service and therefore you may be required to assist the delivery driver in carrying the item(s) from the curbside into your home.

Small items are delivered by one of our courier partners such as Australia Post or DHL. We will send you an approximate date for your delivery after it leaves our Dispatch Centre.

Flat Rate Delivery Service

If your delivery address is located outside Metro Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast areas you might be eligible for our FLAT RATE delivery service. With this option, our delivery team will bring your item(s) inside your home and place it in the entryway.

Small items are delivered by one of our courier partners such as Australia Post or DHL. We will send you an approximate date for your delivery after it leaves our Dispatch Centre.
